While exploring the topic of moving to a new place, I conducted interviews to gain insight.
During my research on moving to a new place, I conducted interviews with individuals aged 30 to 46, both male and female, to gather insights on the challenges of relocating.
After conducting these conversations, I created an affinity map by gathering different themes, trends, and key insights, such as struggles during a move, staying organized, and overall emotions.
I created my personas based on these topics and pain points. Guinevere is a 36-year-old mother of two who is planning to move to a new home to provide a better environment for her son with special needs to thrive in. Her requirements include finding time to unpack and getting assistance.
I wanted to develop an app that can assist users in organizing and packing their belonging with ease. the idea behind this app is to elevate the stress and anxiety that often comes with this dating task. It will also help users find time to pack without disrupting their busy schedules.
Boxy Niche was created through site maps, task/user flows, low/mid/high fidelity wireframes, analyzing and testing.
This app enables the user to take a questionnaire to find available time in their schedule for packing. It then provides the ability to organize each box with items of the user's choice. Finally, the app offers a feature to generate a QR code that can be placed on each box. This allows the user to keep track of the items in each box by accessing them on their phone rather than having to open the box to view its contents.
